When life gets chaotic, scary, too fast or whatever it is that weighs heavily on your mind - it's most often only you who can take the leap.
That leap starts with a first step...
Your first step, less than 10 minutes after you're born.
The flurry of staggered steps you take looking through glassy naive eyes by your mother's side.
Then, under the watchful eye of your herd and as one in millions of others all around you who want to grow up and live their best lives, the multitude of steps you'll take over the rest of your life...
You're surrounded by challenges, and right they're in your path because survival of the fittest is nature's obstacle to ensuring only the best of the best make it.
The Competitors - those who want exactly what you want, including some that seem hungrier than you.
The Predators - those that will eat you alive to survive themselves, and who want to take your good vibes and best intentions as their own.
The Scavengers - anyone who'll take a scrap whenever they get the chance, and make worlds of opportunity from it.
The Wrath of Nature - who has the ability to leave no survivors, yet will also continuously equalise you with your competitors.
And You - Your biggest challenge of all. The one that is responsible for balancing eat/sleep/work/rave/repeats, keeping your mind, body and soul healthy, maintaining relationships and meeting your responsibilities - all while beating those other challenges too.
And that's in your breeding grounds! But then the herd leaves home; and you have to too, or you'll be left behind. You face even more predators, more competitors and scavengers and some of the harshest nature you'll ever encounter on your journey, from swollen croc-caked rivers and lion-lined banks to horrendous lightning storms and earth-shattering thunder, all while being pushed from behind to do what everyone else wants you to do...
Thing is, you don't have to do what everyone else wants you to do. Or what you've perceived, from that barrage of outside influence, is the right thing to do. You just gotta do you.
