|Abs| #abdominalworkout ——————————————— Doing 1,000 #crunches won’t give you #abs. You can’t lose fat from a specific area of your body (let’s say abs), just because you’re doing exercises that hit this area. Eating less calories than you’re supposed to eat, will lower your body fat % (whole body loses fat) and thus, you’re abs (as every other muscle) will be shown. #shreds Working out on your core will make abs visible on higher body fat %. What I mean is: let’s say your abs are visible at 9% body fat if you haven’t worked them out specifically, so if you’re working abs out couple days per week (like every other muscle group in your body) will make them big enough to be visible at 12% body fat. Power clean + clean + power jerk 102kg (225lbs). When I recovered the power jerk I rushed to stand up with the bar and the core gave out but I was able to control it. This is something I need to work on and I always tell my clients about. Make sure to always control that receive and own it before standing up and that goes also for the snatch as well

Shoulders / Traps TODAY ‼️ . A question I often get asked is how do I go about training my traps? How often? What do I do? In all honesty, NOT very much 😂 . I like to train traps (when I remember) with either back or shoulders. Lately I’ve been incorporating them with shoulders and smashing rear delts with back. When this happens, I like to perform both BB & DB shrugs and also the famous leg ext shrug that I keep forgetting to film. Trust me, absolutely insane. I strongly believe though, all the pulling from the floor aka deadlifts have helped improve and grow my traps. So, your take home from this post is this. Getting your first pull up💪 . . . If you don’t care about all the details, here’s the workout⬇️⬇️⬇️. Otherwise keep reading (continues in the comments) and then scroll back up! Please let me know what you think below! . 🟡Body weight row. The more perpendicular your legs (vertical), the easier it is. The lower you hang, the harder it is. Keep those elbows against the body and relax the shoudlers. For added difficultly pause for a moment when your flexed, and slowly release back down. 3-4 sets of 10 or failure (until you can’t do any more) . 🟡Assist pull up. Choose desired grip. Stand on something that helps you safely step into the band, place one foot on the band and make sure the band is on either side of that knee, place other foot in front or back or wrapped around. Do a pull up. The thicker the band the more it “assists” you. . 🟡Bent over row. May use dumbells, or barbell. You many also change up grip depending on desired results. Keep those elbows in, and don’t arch your back! 3 sets of 12 or failure. Video on barbell rows coming soon. . 🟡Negative pull ups. Can be done with or without assist band. Stand on something that will allow you to reach the bar. Grip and jump so you are holding yourself above It. Slowly release yourself to hanging. The slower you go the greater the difficulty. Repeat 10 reps 4x or till failure. . 🟡Body Weight row from a bar. Similar to 1st exercise but from a bar. Choose grip. You might need to place something for your feet to rest against. The higher the bar the easier it is. You may also bend knees if it is too difficult at first. . 🟡Lat pull down. Grip the bar (choose fingers towards or away) and bring the bar down to your chest. Keep it controlled as you release it back up. Keep a slight natural arch in the upper back in order to keep chest up. . . . The details ⬇️⬇️ A pull up (fingers facing away) targets your lats (back muscles). A chin up (fingers facing towards) draws mostly from your biceps, although it is also a huge back builder. Both are great exercises for arms, back muscles, overall strength, and making you feel like a BA. Some find success with one or the other so try both! ⬇cont...
