This is all so true but I would even change the subjective word “fit” to committed in some ways. . . . I still love this though, you don’t get in “good shape” without loads of hard work, having a growth mindset of always wanting to be better, learning loads about yourself and then being Introspective and bettering your behaviour, finding a way to enjoy the journey and become process orientated, prioritising your time... I could go on... . . . That’s why if you ever get depressed about a lack of results a good mindset shift is every time you train you’re making a deposit in the fitness bank in some way whether it’s endurance, strength, mobility, kcals burned, learning technique etc and this all accumulates over time. . . . At the end of the day someone can at any time press a button on a screen somewhere and digitally send you “lots” of money that goes into your name. No one can ever do that with physique and fitness level/ability without you paying a debt for it first. . . . Safe to say training keeps me sane 😂 I actually don’t know what I’d do without training (never thought I would ever say that 🤔) but for me not only do I train so I can stay physically fit, but a lot of it is actually so I stay mentally fit 🔥🌸 it’s a space where I can go, work my ass off and not think about anything going on! We know that exercise pumps blood to the brain, which should make us think more clearly 👌🏻 but did you know it increases the size of our hippocampus, the part of the brain responsibly for memory and it also increases the connections between the nerve cells in the brain! 💁‍♀️🤫 I’m the biggest advocate for getting your body moving for physical and mental health! 💃
