Because our food is mass produced, generically modified, and sprayed with chemicals we don't often (almost never) get the minerals, vitamins, and nutrients we need from our diets. Even if we eat the types of foods our bodies need, we'd have to consume mass quantities to get the dense nutrition needed. Our family chooses to supplement.
I just got this mineral supplement today, and, though I've heard it tastes bad I didn't know what I should expect.
