Back at calorie tracking on the MyFitnessPal app. First week was good, haven't been perfect this past week. Not subtracting activity at all I'm just looking at straight food on this app and using the Google fit app to track activity. Letting my tailbone heal, it's been a month now since I fractured it and it's still sore. The stitches on my face will take a couple weeks for the top ones and a couple months for the deeper ones to dissolve. Going to do my weigh-ins Sunday evenings now instead of once a month because I've had to rest more than I want to and need to keep myself in check 😓 If I see no progress I may have to drop to 1200 calories and work on adjusting macronutrients at least until my tailbone stops aching and I can hit the gym. A tasty (overuse this word) wet and windy marathon this morning to end a frustrating week of training. . Picked up a cold Tuesday which knocked me for most of the week. Had to adjust a couple of sessions and take a couple of extra rest days. . Felt good this morning though (around 8/10) so there was no way I was missing this long run. . Wasn’t expecting anything major today considering, but managed to somehow pull sub 3.55 out the bag which surprised me. . This was 1.30 better than last Sunday and less than 2 mins off an all time marathon PB (have done 4 now). . Ready to get stuck into a big week of training next week after a 💩 one this week. A small bump in the road which won’t ‘throw us off track’ as we still have a lot of work to do. . Swipe left to see the map of the Jurassic Coast Ultra. 100km and 2660m of elevation to add into the mix. . Things start getting hard now as we sit just under 16 weeks out. Day 1 Expo☑️ Day 2 let’s get it💪🏻 (PS keep reading for tips on staying fit while traveling) _ Super super thankful for the amazing @freespiritoutlet team and all the amazing support you guys have given!!! I loved meeting you all yesterday and hope to meet more of you today!!☺️💕 _ Prep is hitting me hard this morning! Woke up at 5 to get a workout in, Ive had hardly any energy at all (totally not complaining because this shit keeps me on fire, keeps me on my toes cuz I know it’s GRIND TIME BABY!!!) But this mornings workout was sooo tough for me, however I showed up and got it done now I’m finishing my first 45 min cardio sesh of the day 1/2. _ How do I manage to stay on prep and healthy while traveling and being away from my security place?? . 🔆I make sure to pack meals before so I prepped all my meals before I left for the amount of time I’ll be gone. I always pack protein powder and tea bags just in case. Lol . . 🔆I try to stay as active as possible while on vacation. luckily this Airbnb complex had a super nice gym so I got to use that but I brought bands just in case and make sure to get some extra steps in! . . 🔆DRINK WATER. I drink so much water on vacation because my body is more stressed than usual so It’s completely normal for my body to hold onto water so I make sure to drink extra water to help flush out all the bloat!

God simply build me to be dancer / figure skater, not a physique competitor, but, hey, I love the challenge and seek to improve for my own personal satisfaction - I will never be His gift to the sport but that’s not the point. The reasons I continue to compete are all intrinsic as they should be for most because there are a limited number of medals handed out at any given show. Who’s ready to train their booty with me 🙋🏽‍♀️. Press the ❤️ button and get saving 💾 for later! Tag your workout partner and try these exercises together for that extra added motivation.....let's go get 👊🏽💪🏽 Workout: ▫️Barbell Glute bridge - Your shins should be roughly vertical to the ground and you should drive you knees outwards. When you lift the weight, drive through the heels of your feet. ▫️Deadstop foot-elevated single-leg hip thrust - At the bottom of the movement your buttocks should rest on the ground for a 1-second count. ▫️DB single-leg hip thrust - Keep the weight centred over your hip. ▫️Barbell frog-stance glute bridge - Keep the heels of your feet placed together. ▫️Barbell front squat- The bar should sit in a little groove which is between your neck and your delt muscles. Let me tell ya about the power of positive thinking 🤔 💭 . . . I’ll be the first to tell you that I thought telling myself I am __________ was pretty ridiculous. I’d never believe it, I’d never feel different, it wouldn’t change my inner feelings. We start week 4 of our 8 week program tomorrow and I am totally singing a different tune. Our minds are sooooo negative sometimes that we forget to praise ourselves over the simplest tasks. Our trainer talks up each affirmation in our workouts that after hearing her positivity for 30 minutes we are humbled to believe it. Don’t believe me? Think of something you want to be: brave, proud, happy. Think it all day long, repeat it in your head. At the end of the day, I guarantee you’ll be better for it. Want to join us this week? There is like 4/5 weeks in between the pictures, It's all work ethic nothing more. Training legs 2 times and some weeks 3 times a week it means some weeks I train 6 days a week 1.5 hour to 2 hours YES... why it's because I love it that's all, when you love something to do than it brings you joy by doing it, can be football can be any sports doesn't matter. The more you put in, the more you get from it. 🌱 Keep leg workouts simple and basic like allot of squats lunges, hamstring curls etc. Dont forget to SHARE and SEND it! 🙌🏼 👉🏼 Squats 🔸️ 10.12.24.24 yes 24 reps last 2 sets I do 3 drops, like 110kg 80kg 60kg every set 8 reps ⚠️ Dont go super heavy you're not breaking records your working on you're body and progress is always above weight. Straight back little bit wider stance than you're shoulders toes pointing outside, go as low as you can. NEVER lock you're knees when your in start position. 👉🏼 Lunges 🔸️ like 10/15 meters ⚠️ Straight back especially when you come down almost touching the ground with your knee, let your arms hang loose your legs must do the work. 👉🏼 Sissy squat 🔸️ 8.12.12.14 ⚠️ Lean little bit backwards when you come down. Squeeze at the top. 👉🏼 Laying hamstring curls 🔸️ 10.10.12.0 ⚠️ Control the weight dont throw with it, come down slowly. 👉🏼 It's leg extensions machine but I use it for standing hamstring curls 🤷‍♂️ stay creative. 🔸️ 12.12.14.14 ⚠️ finishing exercise so light weight dont throw again nice and easy 🙏🏼
